A state-of-the-art football stadium inaugurated on 5 September 2025, the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium is Morocco’s largest and most advanced sports arena, with a capacity of 69,500 spectators. It serves as the official home of the Morocco national football team and is a cornerstone venue for major international tournaments—including the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (hosting group matches and a semi-final) and the 2030 FIFA World Cup (selected to host a semi-final).
Part of the larger Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, the stadium features:
- A striking parametric LED façade inspired by Moroccan embroidery and palm motifs
- A 360° wind-shielding roof and hybrid natural-synthetic pitch (FIFA-certified)
- One of Africa’s largest fan zones: a 23,000-seat southern Kop stand
- Sustainable design with integrated solar energy and smart crowd management
- Premium hospitality areas, including the Royal Box and VIP lounges
Designed by Orange Atelier and Populous, and constructed in just two years by Sonarges, the stadium replaced the original 1983 venue (demolished in 2023). Its rapid, high-precision build may qualify for a Guinness World Record.
More than a stadium—a symbol of Moroccan ambition, heritage, and sporting excellence.
