Located on the southeastern edge of Fez, the Stade du Complexe Sportif de Fès stands as one of Morocco’s most important modern sports landmarks. Designed as a multi-purpose venue, the stadium blends large-scale architecture with functional versatility, making it a key destination for both national and international events.
Built over nearly a decade and officially inaugurated in 2007, Fez Stadium was created to meet international sporting standards. It features a natural grass football pitch encircled by an athletics track, allowing it to host football matches, athletic competitions, and major public events. With a seating capacity of approximately 45,000 spectators, the stadium offers an impressive atmosphere on match days, fueled by the passion of local supporters.
As the home ground of MAS Fès and Wydad Athletic de Fès, the stadium plays a central role in the city’s sporting identity. Beyond football, it symbolizes Fez’s evolution into a modern cultural and sporting hub, complementing the city’s ancient heritage with contemporary infrastructure.
